Cet événement réaffirmera le rôle irremplaçable des enseignants et la nécessité de replacer la confiance, la solidarité et l'action professionnelle au cœur de l'éducation. La Journée mondiale des enseignants est un moment mondial pour célébrer la profession enseignante et exhorter la communauté internationale à prendre des mesures concrètes pour repenser l'enseignement comme une profession collaborative.   يحتفل اليوم العالمي للمعلمين 2025 بالتدريس كمهنة تعاونية، تستمد قوتها من الروابط الإنسانية المتينة، والمسؤوليات المشتركة، والهويات المهنية المستدامة. سيؤكد هذا الحدث على الدور الذي لا غنى عنه للمعلمين، وضرورة إعادة ترسيخ الثقة والتضامن والفاعلية المهنية في صميم التعليم. يُعدّ اليوم العالمي للمعلمين مناسبة عالمية للاحتفال بمهنة التدريس، وحثّ المجتمع الدولي على اتخاذ إجراءات ملموسة لإعادة صياغة التدريس كمهنة تعاونية.

  The Global celebration of  World Teachers’ Day  2025 is co-convened by UNESCO in collaboration with the International Labour Organization (ILO) , UNICEF and EducationInternational . 

 Last year, the UN Secretary General’s High-Level Panel on the Teaching Profession published a set of Recommendations that seek to strengthen the role of teachers in the transformation of education and to advance SDG 4 . A core message from the Recommendations - echoing UNESCO’s seminal report onthe Futures of Education - is the need to promote teaching as a collaborative profession , supported by coherent systems throughout teachers’ careers . In parallel, global education frameworks have emphasized the collective and relational nature of teaching , underlining that quality education is shaped by cooperation, shared responsibility and professional solidarity. The global celebration will be hosted by the African Union in the framework of the Pan-African Conference on Teacher Education in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The 2025 World Teachers’ Day will celebrate the inherent collective nature of teaching through the theme: “ Recasting teaching as a collaborative profession. ” This year’s event aims to highlight the vital roles teachers play in education systems while emphasizing the transformative potential of collaboration both within and outside of classrooms. Co-convened by UNESCO with the International Labour Organization (ILO), UNICEF, and Education International (EI), the celebration will be hosted by the African Union in the framework of the Pan-African Conference on Teacher Education (PACTED) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
